Marvin packed everything he needed into the truck bed of his old Nissan pickup, walked back into his shack for one last look around. He surveyed the room, turning in a circle, then stopped when his eyes came to the closet door. How could he have forgotten?

Turning the knob and reaching inside, he pulled the shoulder holster from its peg and strapped it on. He grabbed a jacket to hide it from sight, then walked to the desk and took the gun from the drawer. After he had settled it to rest comfortably in the holster, he buttoned two of the coat buttons across his chest. He didn’t have a concealed carry permit, but he didn’t need one. If It came to that, he was limited in his choices. He wouldn’t let them stop them from the mission he had assigned himself.

Craig Howard needed his help, and he needed it now. The pissers had silenced him, and that just couldn’t be allowed. People needed to learn the truth…
